Frontend Developer

  Job Description

As a member of the Software Development team, Front End Developers are responsible for designing, coding, and modifying software applications according to business requirements. Front End Developers are expected to follow team coding standards to write clean and concise code, and to work with QA to isolate and debug issues.

Front End Developers are responsible for creating clean, modular front ends on our internal ERP and external facing portals.  We love clean code, testable code, documented code – you know, all the stuff that helps us sleep at night. Front End Developers work on a team with other like-minded, forward-thinking devs, and we collaborate in-person, in meetings, and online via Discord.  Front End Developers may have experience with other frameworks and languages, but they will be expected to operate daily in React and Javascript.

  Minimum Qualifications

Able to write organized, accessible, and performant apps using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less, etc.).

Experience with Angular/Vue/Ember/React, and a willingness to adopt React.

Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.

Strong technical and non-technical communication skills.

Solid understanding of version control and developer workflows, Git experience specifically a plus.

2+ years of professional front end experience.

A desire to contribute to a vibrant, welcoming, and innovative culture.

Desired Pervious Experience

React experience

Experience with Firebase.

Experience with browser testing.

Experience working with Agile-Scrum methodology.

Strong unit testing fundamentals.
